Thank you for visiting my website. My business is called “Healthy Living”. I offer nutrition and healthy lifestyle counselling to individuals and corporate workshops on these topics. As the English version of this site is in progress, I would like to introduce my methods a bit.
My philosophy is rather alternative as opposed to the current mainstream nutrition practice in the Czech Republic. On one hand I prepare nutrition / meal plans based on modern nutrients theories. On the other hand I take into account the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurveda. In other words, nutrition plans / other documents created by me are combination of Western and Eastern methods.
Generally speaking, orthodox methods are not my favourites. I believe reaching a balanced diet / life style is about having a good understanding of some basic principles. We just have to find out what our bodys’ needs are. And give the body what it wants.
Many people say they “listen” to their body and eat what it wants. Quite a few, however, realize they are not listening correctly. For instance, the urge for unhealthy food is always a result of some kind of disbalance. We think the body wants sugar or fast food and eat it. But the body is not primarily asking for unhealthy food. It wants a healthy diet to have enough energy and stay healthy.
In my consultations, I not only tell clients how to change nutrition, eating habits and life style. I also teach clients to “listen correctly” and understand what the body needs.
